Seattle's grave - Seattle, Washington. Sealth was so impressed with French missionaries in the 1830's that he converted to Catholicism and took the baptismal name "Noah". It is believed that he later returned to his Native Spirituality.
Chief Sealth: A leading member of the Duwamish tribe, mistakenly thought to be a chief, after whom Seattle was named. Sealth (supposedly pronounced See-alth) was a tyee, which is often translated as "chief", actually refers more to a V.I.P., or a dignitary, but not to someone holding an office with plenary powers, in other words. The first report of Chief Sealth comes from William Fraser Tolmie of the Hudson's Bay Company who was one of the first explorers of the Puget Sound basin -- he referred to him as "Silah...a brawny Soquamish with a Roman countenance & black curly hair; the handsomest Indian I have seen." Historical Correction: The birthdate on this marker is incorrect. Angeline was more likely born around 1806 - when Seattle was in his 20's, not in his 40's - and I recall him being a young man in his 20's when I was small (via vivid visual flashbacks). I also recall being close to my friend Henry Yesler in age. That would put my age in the historical photos above as closer to 90 rather than 70.

Henry Yesler / Patrick

Historical Portrait of an older Henry Yesler / Patrick today
Despite different backgrounds, Cynthia and Patrick became close friends immediately on meeting in 1999, and have remained so ever since. This match was Cynthia's 4th recognition of a past life friend, which occurred months after the initial three during a waking past-life flashback and name recall at the dinner table. The historical photos of Henry Yesler were found the next day. Henry Yesler migrated to the Northwest and built log cabins as his first job. He was well known to the local Indians as a friend and peace keeper, and as a dear friend, Angeline's last request was to be buried near him. After emigrating to the West from his birth place of Northern Ireland in search of a more peaceful life, Patrick began his career as a building contractor. As his first job in the United States, he built log cabins in the mountains.

George Anson Meigs / Anonymous

The match of Captain Meigs (Meiggs) to a person with a keen interest in environmental issues and sustainability was found several years after the other Seattle people in May of 2005 via a flashback. I then located him through a series of dreams and psychic clues. I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting him in person.
Chief Seattle spent the last years of his life at the Fort Madison Reservation and on Bainbridge Island. He died on June 7, 1866 from a fever at the Old Man House in Port Madison, with Angeline and George Meigs by his side.

Mysterious Ancient Picture Rock near Agate Point
One of the great mysteries of Bainbridge Island is the meaning of the faces chipped into a boulder near Agate point hundreds, or possibly thousands of years ago. The stone, with the faces pecked into the east face, aligns perfectly with the equinox sunrise, and has several features that are similar to the face of the full moon. There are seven faces in all, as well as a star.
