This past life realization originated from a symbolic dream with flashbacks disbursed within. During the flashback, I was in a snowstorm in the Himalayas with several of my brothers climbing a mountain. He remembered the baby was looking at his grandmother when they entered the room. He was wearing a yellow shirt and a maroon chuba, and he wore a bracelet of jade-like beads around his wrist. Sonam Chopel said he felt that the child was extraordinary, and could not help blurting out, "Rinpoche." The baby turned around to look at Sonam Chopel, and smiled. At that moment, Sonam Chopel said he felt the similarity in the smiles of the Third Jamgon Kongtrul and that of the baby, and he felt overcome by a feeling of joy. In the first paranormal dream I ever had in 1999, this vision involved being in a forest with someone close to me transforming into a tiger. Other possible connections to this lifetime involve hanging off the side of a sheer cliff, gathering plants, possibly for medicinal purposes, a pheasant like bird, and a large statue of the seated Buddha in the forest. I am not currently aware of the specific time period, though I feel this may have also been in or near Tibet. In the current lifetime, I did meet one person (who seems to have accurate past life memories as well) who said that they recognized me from Tibet, and referred to me as "Rinpoche".
